The biannual Ann Mashburn sale is always the sale that tempts me more than any other. It begins at 30% off, then goes down to 50% off with more items added, then finally 60% off. (When items are 60% off, they are final sale, but prior to that they are returnable!) I always save my July shopping budget for the summer sale because it is always so GOOD. Every year, I compile my lists of favorite pieces—both items on my wishlist and items I own—for your perusal. This sale’s iteration is here, and it will be updated throughout the month as more pieces are added. You can view prior wishlists here, here, and here.
Feel free to reach out with any questions about style, sizing, etc.! I will be sure to share what I’m buying for myself as well, and I’d love to hear what you snag :)
My first pair of wedge espadrilles were a pair of these from the pop-up Sid and Ann Mashburn did at Union Market in DC—before they even opened a DC store! It was the first time I’d been able to shop the brand in person and these totally captured my heart. I have them and wear them still, well over a decade later.
Featuring an old CK Bradley dress that is a dead ringer for the Ann Mashburn Molly dress, included in the sale!
Similarly, my first pair of K. Jacques were a Mashburn find at the same pop-up. What can I say? The entire experience of getting to shop the brand in person for the first time was a delight and well worth the wait. At that point, I’d been shopping and wearing Mashburn clothes since about a week after Ann Mashburn opened—I still remember emailing with Scottie to negotiate the sizing on their fabulous box-pleat skirts.
The piece I most regret not purchasing at the time was the original Aba dress, I waited so. long. to find it on the secondhand market, and I also routinely emailed the Mashburn team begging them to check their warehouse for any lost inventory. I finally snagged it last year—my single best purchase of 2025!
Driving mocs are essentially my spirit shoe—casual, cool, and preppy in a 70s way. Besides my Belgians, these are the shoes I think of when I define myself. The suede ones are included in this summer’s sale!
Madras is always a favorite summer pattern and Sid Mashburn’s collection of madras shirts is included—a great time to stock up for YOU! My key tip to wearing men’s shirts is to size UP (as pictured) for the perfect slouchy look.
I love these diagonal strap sandals and I’ve routinely clocked in 10k steps with them—the platinum color is included and it’s PERFECT for summer parties or just dressing up a pair of white jeans
.
Speaking of white jeans, this cut is perfection and I’m snagging them in white this summer.
I’m a connoisseur of striped shirts and these are my favorite for layering—I adore the green and white.
I snagged my first v-neck sweater in a decade at the Georgetown shop a month or so ago on a weekend trip down where the 75 degree predicted temps were more like 45… it saved me AND I looked chic, if I do say so myself!
This wouldn’t be a sale roundup post if I didn’t include one of my favorite pieces in the Mashburn stables—the shirtwaist dress. This is the dress that made me fall instantly in love with the brand, but it took me years to get one for myself. It was well worth the wait! The cute and details are perfection and no stitch is unconsidered. I love mine (I now have several) and this green floral stripe is next on my list.
