What to Wear for the Fourth of July
Better late than never... seven outfits for whatever your holiday has in store!
The Fourth of July has always been one of my favorite holidays; beyond celebrating our country, the celebration feels like the height of summer. Past years’ celebrations have included barbecues, tennis matches, fireworks at our club, beach days, and cocktail parties. As I’ve written before, I love coordinating with my friends on what to wear, and holidays are no exception. Honestly, the “what are you wearing?” text from a girlfriend is my favorite text to receive!
Here are five outfits I’ve worn for past Fourth of July celebrations. These all work for the summer, too! I hope you have a wonderful holiday and remember—never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed people can change the world. Indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.1

With thanks to Margaret Mead!
Dressed to Keel (love that!) reminded me that my boat shoes are in serious disrepair and need replacing. I ordered one of the last pair of Sperry’s in my size on Zappos - thanks!
